
Sudan's President Omar al-Bashir's has postponed his planned visit to Cairo due to the political deadlock in Egypt. According to Sudanese newspaper Public Opinion, the presidency has called back the delegation which had arrived in Cairo two days ago in preparation of Bashir's visit. The newspaper quoted sources as saying that the visit has been postponed because of the current developments and the tense security situation in Egypt. Bashir was expected to lead a ministerial delegation to Cairo on Thursday, for a two-day visit during which he was to discuss several common issues, including the Nile water problem with Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi.
