Sayyed Salem appointed new chairman of NRA

Transport Minister Hisham Arafat appointed Engineer Sayyed Ibrahim Mohamed Salem as new chairman of the National Railway Authority (NRA).
Salem was the board chairman of the safety and quality department at the authority.
On Sunday, the transport minister accepted the resignation of the authority's chief, Major General Medhat Shosha over Friday's deadly train crash near the coastal city of Alexandria that killed 42 people and injured scores of others.
