President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika on Wednesday has reshuffled the Government, said the Presidency of the Republic in a communiqué.
This is the full text of the statement of the Presidency:
"In accordance with provisions of Article 79 of the Constitution, President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika has promulgated, after consultation with the Prime Minister, a presidential decree on the appointment of the Government members:
- Abdelmalek Sellal, Prime Minister,
- Tayeb Belaiz, State Minister, Minister of Interior and Local Authorities,
- Ahmed Gaid Salah, Deputy Minister for National Defence, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army,
- Ramtane Lamamra, Minister of Foreign Affairs, replacing Mourad Medelci, assigned new duties
- Tayeb Louh, Minister of Justice,
- Karim Djoudi, Minister of Finance,
- Youcef Yousfi, Minister of Energy and Mining,
- Amara Benyounes, Minister of Industrial Development and Investment Promotion,
- Abdelwahab Nouri, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development,
- Bouabdallah Ghlamallah, Minister of Religious Affairs and Wakfs,
- Mohamed Cherif Abbes, Minister of Mujahideen
- Mohamed El Ghazi, Minister to the Prime Minister in charge of the Public Service Reform,
- Hocine Necib, Minister of Water Resources,
