Political Secretary of the Popular Congress Party, Kamal Omar, revealed that the upcoming national reconciliation government scheduled to be formed in April will face challenges in regard with private dialogue on constitutional and political transformation, in addition to ending the war. Omar promised, at a conference held on (the National Reconciliation Government) and organized by the General Union of Sudanese Students, Monday, that a reconciliation and political reform can rearrange the situation again.
He stressed that the national dialogue had a positive impact, especially in relation to the release of convicts and political prisoners, noting that the next government will work on ending the war and present an economic program, expecting that the economic sanctions will be lifted in the light of international openness on Sudan. He also urged the reform of the electoral system and democratic transition and the formation of the Constitution.
