Egypt’s Prime Minister Hesham kandil called on the different political parties of Egypt to participate in tackling the local, security, regional and economic challenges. During a press conference held in Egypt’s presidential palace Qandil said: “We took into account the social consultations when conducting the ministerial reshuffle. Egypt will be built with the hands of its citizens, we will not wait for foreign aid.” Qandil said that the new government would face a number of problems and challenges, while it would exert its efforts to achieve the objectives of the Egyptian revolution. He expressed optimism over the formation of the new government, saying: “It will work to eliminate corner cutting and strive for social justice.” Quandil also said he hopes that the new government will increase investment and find legislative solutions to allocating lands. He ended his statement saying that the priority of the government is the interests of the Egyptian people, calling on those who refused to participate in the new government to: “Work seriously for the national interest.”
