Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas arrived in the Yemeni capital Sanaa on Monday, beginning a formal 2-day visit. Yemeni diplomatic sources said that the Fatah leader is planning to hold talks with Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi and several key officials during his trip. Yemeni news agency Saba reported that several Yemeni officials received President Abbas at the airport, including Yemeni Prime Minister Mohamed Salem, the President's Adviser for Women Affairs Faeka el-Sayed, in addition to a number of Yemeni ministers, parliamentarians, security and military leaders, and the Palestinian Ambassador to Sanaa, Abdullah al-Agha.
