7-year-old Lan Guijing helps airing corn during summer vacation in Nongyong Village of Dahua Yao Autonomous County, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Aug. 7, 2016. According to the latest government figures, more than 3 million people have been pulled out of poverty over the past four years in Guangxi's stony desertification area of about two million hectares. So far, about 280,000 hectares of such landscape has been treated, according to Huang Shiyong, vice chairman of the regional government.
