Tripoli – Emad Agag
Two people affiliated to the Libyan supreme security committee, were killed in Tripoli during a fight with light weapons, according to an informed source at the ministry of interior. The source, who preferred not to be named, referred to the melee that took place between a group from Tajoura and “Friday market” was a result of personal reasons, pointing out that an unidentified car threw the bodies on a highway known as Ramadan 20 Street (previously July11). In other developments, the director of investment management in social insurance, Namik Ali Hassan, was abducted in mysterious circumstances three days ago in Tripoli. A source in the office of the ministry of interior, mentioned that the supreme security committee, stated that Hassan's phone was not available. The source, explained that Tripoli is currently witnessing tightened security, due to a lack of security and stability in the city, especially the areas of Ghoot Al-shaal, Al-Andalus and Ben Ashour. The source pointed out that anonymous leaflets have been distributed in Tripoli by the resistance movement, which is a subsidiary to the former regime.
