Cairo - Akram Ali
The Muslim Brotherhood have announced that they will not participate in the "Friday of stability" demonstrations on Friday 22nd July, denying rumours of their involvement in the planning of the new ministers in Sharaf's government in the field of Tahrir in central Cairo. The group said in an official statement that they will not participate in any demonstrations next Friday, supporting instead "real stability" which must be achieved, not through demonstrations, but through the prevention of spreading the current chaos. The group called for an end to the protests in all areas of Egypt considering that the government now has a new vision of implementing the rest of the demands of the revolution, and according to the Muslim Brotherhood, achieved a large number of them last week. At the same time the Tahrir demonstrators called on the new ministers in Essam Sharaf's government to take the constitutional oath from Tahrir Square. Hazem Beblawi, Deputy Prime Minister and Economic Minister of Finance, Ali Salami, the Deputy Prime Minister, Jouda Abddul Khaliq, Solidarity Minister, and Amr Helmy, Minister of Health, have all confirmed that they will do so in response to demonstrators demanding that they take legitimacy and respond to the demands of the revolution.
