A man has been found guilty of killing a gay British man by a court in El Jadida, Morocco on Friday. The unnamed man received a 20 year sentence for premeditated murder. The British citizen was reportedly the convict's partner, who wanted to end to the relationship. The murdered man then blackmailed the Moroccan by threatening to publish naked photographs of him online. In a statement released by the General Directorate for National Security, the authorities stated that they arrested the man after finding his mobile phone and computer. The statement also explained that his possessions revealed the identity of the murderer. El Jadida is a port city on the Atlantic coast of Morocco, a town favoured by tourists.
