The Ministry of Interior’s Pavilion at the Dubai International Government Achievements Exhibition, which concluded yesterday, attracted a large turnout of visitors who reviewed the different initiatives and projects displayed by the ministry. These projects and initiatives aim to promote the UAE’s competitiveness and highlight the availability of time and effort saving services offered to the public.

Colonel Nasser Khadem Al Ka’bi, Head of the Customer Service Department at the Ministry of Interior and Supervisor of the Ministry of Interior’s Pavilion, said, "The visitors expressed their satisfaction with the services and programmes offered by the ministry, and were acquainted with the most prominent projects that were displayed in the pavilion," he said.

Colonel Al Ka’bi said, "This participation highlights the ministry’s role and the higher leadership’s commitment and tireless efforts to support the transformation to smart government. It also aims to acquaint the public with the ministry’s efforts to develop the quality of its services and ensure its customers’ satisfaction."

He noted that through its platform, the Ministry of Interior acquainted the exhibition’s participants and visitors with its cutting-edge programs and projects. "These projects include the Service Delivery Follow-up System Project at the Ministry of Interior, the "Smart Travel System" and the Smart Library Project," he said.

The Ministry of Interior’s pavilion at the Exhibition allowed visitors to register in the "Smart Travel System", as part of the e-ports project that was recently launched by the Ministry of Interior at the Abu Dhabi Airport.

The basic registration is an essential step to be able to use the service and avail of the facilities provided by the project while travelling through Abu Dhabi airport.
