
His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the U.A.E. Armed Forces received here on Wednesday the visiting Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott and his accompanying delegation.
Sheikh Mohamed welcomed the Australian prime Minister and expressed the hope that his visit would contribute in furthering relations between the two friendly countries.
He added that U.A.E., under the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, had always sought to deepen cooperation and partnerships with all friendly countries.
The meeting touched on cooperation, current regional and international developments and issues of mutual interest.
The Australian Prime Minister said he was pleased with his visit to the UAWE and his meeting with Sheikh Mohamed. He renewed his country's keenness to further enhance bilateral ties with the U.A.E. and lauded the progress witnessed by the U.A.E. in all fields.
