Mauritanian party “National Ribat to Support the Palestinian People” announced at a press conference in the capital Nouakchott on Saturday, that it will be sending a convoy to the Gaza Strip on November 29. Headed by the prominent Mauritanian Sheikh, Mohammed Hassan al-dido, the convoy will spend three days in the sector with the aim of breaking the siege. The Secretary-General of Ribat and the Vice President of the "Tawasul Party" Mohammed Ghulam Wild al-Haj al-Sheikh said: "The Mauritanian convoy heading to Gaza is trying to contribute significantly in breaking the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip and the presence of the prominent Sheikh al-dido will give it a morale boost." Al-dido has previously issued the importance of donation for the people of Gaza and stressed the importance of everyone’s participation in the convoy.
