Hundreds of supporters of the Islamic current in Mauritania rallied in Nouakchott to express their support for excluded Egyptian president Mohammed Morsi and former ruling regime Muslim Brotherhood. The demonstrators raised the Mauritanian and Egyptian flags, rebuking what they described as "a military coup against the legitimacy." They called on Egypt’s army to retreat from its decision.
