The Libyan warplanes on Thursday launched air raids on Daesh sites in Houari, Benghazi.

According to a military source, the strikes were launched upon intelligence on attempts by militants to sneak into Al-Safsafa Project in nearby Gwarsha, Benghazi.

Fierce clashes are going on between Libyan army and militants in al Houari, the source said.

The armed forces controled the River Way and cordoned Houari Hospital where militants are hiding.

On Wednesday, the army launched rocket attacks on other sites controlled by Daesh affiliates in Hellies and Tekka, the source said.

He denied reports claiming Daesh militants took control of Al Noakih area.
