Tunis - Nabil Zaghdoud
A group of national parties, leftist parties and a group of independent figures in Tunisia announced the forming of an opposition popular front against the ruling collatio  The parties forming this front are the Labor Party (former communist party), Democratic National Party, Democratic Nationalists' Movement, Ba'ath Movement, and Tunisian Workers Communist Party, Green Party for Progress, Party of Peoples' Unity, Republicans Party, and Progressive Party. These parties in a combined statement received by Arabstoday on Monday said: "The popular front can be located in the Tunisian revolution position as an alternative option to the faked attraction between the ruling collation and liberal factions claiming that it represent the alternative to the Troika government". "The popular front is the main option to achieve the revolution's target of freedom, justice and democracy in its popular form not the liberal democracy that only serves the bourgeoisie and businessmen." They also stated that they are working on achieving revolutionary equality and justice in its different levels between man and woman and popular categories and all parties. "what gathers us is not the elections but it’s the suffering Tunisians who have been one and half year living in injustice, poverty and marginalising. Their revolution only gave them more poverty, marginalising and Procrastination." The group also accused the ruling party headed by the Enahda movement of "brokering martyrs blood and the revolution's injuries". The popular front described the "Tunis calls movement" founded by Beji Caid el Sebsi, by being the soft lap for communists (democratic constitutional communist ruling party in Bine Ali era) and all corrupted businessmen".  "This political collaboration is not different in its political and economic depth from th Ennahda option and others".
