Lebanese security forces arrested four men and seized two bomb-laden cars during a series of raids in southern Beirut on Sunday morning, sources told Arab Today. The arrests, made in the town of Naameh, 10 miles south of the capital, are not believed to be linked to the car bomb attack which killed 27 people three days ago. Those arrested were found to be in possession of explosives and ammunitions. The two cars had fake number plates and were laden with explosives, ready for attacks in Lebanon. Last week's attack in a Shi'ite district of southern Beirut which is a stronghold of the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah was the deadliest in the capital since Lebanon's 1975-1990 civil war.
