Large Forest Fire Rages Across Greek Island

A forest fire on the Greek island of Thasos in the northern Aegean Sea has destroyed several homes and injuring one firefighter , according to media reports .
The fire service deployed hundreds of firefighters, seven planes and a helicopter to tackle the blaze on Sunday, which broke out after a lightning storm.
Nearly 20 forest fires were reported over the weekend across Greece.
