
Kuwait’s National Assembly approved to lift immunity from three parliamentarians, as they involved in the case known as “the storming of the council”.
According to sources, the parliament approved the measure with majority of 39 of members out of 42 members attended the session.
The case dates back to 2011, when hundreds of people stormed the headquarters of the parliament to demand the resignation of then-prime minister.
