Khaled , British Council Director laud Cairo-London relations

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Khaled Abdel Ghaffar said that relations between Egypt and the United Kingdom are cordial and based on joint cooperation in all fields.
Abdel Ghaffar's statements came during his meeting Sunday with Director of the British Council in Egypt Jeff Streeter at the ministry's headquarters.
Abdel Ghaffar and Streeter discussed means to cultivate cultural and scientific relations between Egyptian and British universities in the fields of medical and technical education.
During the meeting, Streeter extended an invitation to the minister of higher education to visit the United Kingdom to learn about the educational programs offered in British universities, as part of the agreement signed between President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and the UK last November.
He also pointed out that the UK will increase the number of doctorate scholarships to Egyptian students, confirming his country's keenness on encouraging cooperation with Egypt.
