Amman - Osama Arrantissi

The second deputy speaker of Jordanian Parliament, Khalil Atiyah called on the government to expel Israeli ambassador in Amman and suspend hosting the Israeli- Palestinian talks in response to the Israeli provoke by arresting the Speaker of Palestinian Legislative Council PLC in Gaza Aziz Dweik. Atiyah said in a press release issued on Saturday “Dweik’s arrest is an Israeli attempt to harm the Palestinian reconciliation between Fatah and Hamas,” stressing the Palestinian’s right to resist Israeli “occupation” and re-unite the Palestinian factions in the Palestinian Liberation Organization PLO, as well as ending the Palestinian division between Gaza and West Bank. In addition, Atiyah called the Parliaments in Arab countries, especially in Egypt, to put pressure on Israel, condemn Israeli policies and demand release of all arrested PLC members in Israeli jails.
