Jordanian Islamists elect leaders

Jordan’s Islamists are casting their votes for the future leaders of the Jordanian Muslim Brotherhood to represent the group for the next four years. Members of the Islamist movement across the country are selecting 47 of the 52-member Shura (consultation) Council, the executive body that sets the policies of the Kingdom's largest political movement. Initial information suggested that Abdul Hameed Al-Qudah, the deputy Observer General, will be elected Observer General for this session.
