Jordan Brotherhood busy searching for leader

The Muslim Brotherhood in Jordan has been busy for weeks looking for a new leader. The movement’s 20th Shura Council will conclude its work in a session next Thursday, and will hold another summit next month in which it will elect a leader and the executive bureau for the next four years. Candidates are still denying rumours of their nominations, however informed sources in the movement revealed to Arabstoday that Abdul Hamid al-Qudat was very likely to be the next leader. Meanwhile, Abdul Latif Arabiyat, the head of the movement’s Shura Council said that the council will conduct a meeting next Thursday to discuss financial and administrative reports.
