Jewish settler tries to raise Israeli flag on Aqsa Mosque

Guards of Al Aqsa mosque on Tuesday arrested a Jewish settler while trying to raise the Israeli flag on Aqsa mosque near the Dome of the Rock.
Sources in Al Quds City said the settler stormed Al Aqsa compound from Bab el Maghreba gate and attacked the guards near the Dome of the Rock mosque who tried to remove the Israeli flag he erected there.
Guards and worshipers arrested the settler and beat him before the Israeli occupation forces intervened to bring him out of Al Aqsa complex.
Tensions escalated in the surroundings of the mosque as the Israeli occupation forces assaulted the Islamic Waqf employees and arrested seven guards.
