Iraq attack
Baghdad - Naglaa El Taie

The Iraqi Joint Forces managed to liberate Ghazlani camp south Mosul, and seized absolute control over the Abo Seif area and surrounding villages in the southern axis on the right side of the city of Mosul.
The governor of Saladin province, Ahmed Abdullah al-Jubouri said that the security situation is under control, and the government forces killed all the suicide bombers who wanted to control the checkpoint in southern entrance of the city, while the Popular Mobilization thwarted all suicide bombings in the area.
The governor refuted the rumors circulated on social media networks about the presence of extremist elements in the city, adding that ISIS wants to spread rumors and lies to destabilize security and order of the area.
A statement by the federal police forces, said that "the federal police completed the liberation of Abu Seif region in preparation to the liberation of Mosul airport.
It added that "the federal police used military tactics which surprised ISIS elements, and forced them to withdraw from the vicinity of the airport."
A security source said that "rapid intervention forces liberated today the Ghazlani camp, south of Mosul and found a rocket manufacturing plant, as well as improvised explosive devices.
Recapturing the eastern side of the Tigris River after at least 100 days of battles, Iraqi generals hope to invade the IS-held west soon, but a more difficult battle is expected there as the forces are required to heed the safety of 750.000 civilians who militants are widely speculated to use as human shields.
IS extremists have reportedly withdrawn from the eastern side to the west via the Tigris River, with human losses and divisions escalating within the group.
