The new Iranian Ambassador to Jordan will arrive in Amman next February, while Jordan will send its new Ambassador to Tehran, according to Al-Ghad newspaper on Thursday. The newspaper said that Jordan had officially approved the new Iranian Ambassador, just days before Tuesday's arrival of Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Jawad Zarif in Amman, where he discussed with Jordanian officials the current events in the region and the two countries' relations. Amman will also name its Ambassador to Tehran soon, said the newspaper, adding that this position had been unoccupied for about five years. The former Iranian Ambassador to Jordan had left the country last summer, where the Iranian Foreign Ministry had named its new Ambassador, yet the Jordanian approval came only a few days ago.
