Interior Minister promises to disarm Sudan

The Sudanese Interior Minister Ibrahim Mahmoud Hamed has announced that it was in his government’s interest to see law and order throughout the country. Hamed promised to disarm and bring to justice those who illegally own weapons and threaten the population. Hamed also promised to put behind bars the rebels who terrorise the population of South Kordofan. The Interior Minister also urged the South Sudanese government to stop supporting their militants.
