
Minister of Health and Population Ahmed Emad El Din Rady met Monday with the Jordanian Ambassador in Cairo Aly El Ayed to discuss ways of boosting cooperation between the two countries in the fields of health and medicine.
The meeting took place at the headquarters of the center for training doctors in Abbassia district, Cairo.
Spokesman for the ministry Khaled Megahed said, the meeting also included ways to activate the recommendations of the 27th session of the joint Egyptian-Jordanian higher committee, which was held in Amman during July 24-27 and under Prime Minister Sherif Ismail.
Megahed explained that Jordanian doctors will be enrolled in the Egyptian fellowship program to benefit from the Egyptian expertise in the field of health.
