Palestinian Prime Minister in Gaza Ismail Haniyeh said it was important that Tunisia takes action against the murders by Israel on Tunisian land. Haniyeh said the murderers of Khalil al-Wazir, one of the founders of Fatah movement, should not go unpunished. He said Israel had already accepted responsibility for the 1988 assassination. Haniyeh hailed the historical role Tunisia's al-Asala party played in supporting the Palestinian cause and said Tunisia was the birthplace of the Arab Spring. Head of al-Asala Tunisian party said a convoy from Algeria, Tunisia and Mauritania will arrive in Gaza in order to contribute towards breaking the siege including a number of Islamic leaders.
