Hamas urges Hezbollah to withdraw from Syria

Palestine’s Islamic Movement of Hamas has called on Lebanon’s Shiite Hezbollah to withdraw its troops from Syria, demanding them to "use their weapons against the Israeli occupation." He blamed the interference of Hezbollah for the increasing sectarian polarisation in the region. The movement stressed the right of Syrians in achieving freedom, expressing their "deepest sympathy" for the ongoing crisis. The movement added that the Palestinian issue is the central issue in the Arab and Islamic nation, stressing the need to "protect the resistance," despite the current conditions.
