Hamas rejects Kerry visit to Palestine

Hamas has said that US Secretary of State John Kerry is not welcome in the occupied Palestinian territories. Kerry's visit is meant to provide a cover for Israel to continue its crimes against the Palestinian people, said Hamas spokesman Sami Abu-Zahri on Wednesday. "Kerry should know that ongoing negotiations do not represent the Palestinian people and that president Mahmoud Abbas is not authorized to carry out negotiations or reach results," Abu-Zahri said. Any results out of the negotiations are not binding for the Palestinian people. Kerry arrived in al-Quds on Tuesday on a visit meant to push forward the troubled peace process. Source: MENA
