Co-founder of Hamas Mahmoud al-Zahar revealed that the agreement concluded between his movement and the Fatah group in Cairo, May does not include anything about parliamentary elections, adding that the Palestinian president has "falsified" information about the upcoming elections. Zahar affirmed that the two groups had agreed to form a national unity government, but told Arab Today that he was interested in conducting elections through emails. Discussing recent statements issued by the Egyptian army regarding involvement in the killing of Egyptian soldiers, Zahar stated that a number of media channels were "distributing lies." Regarding documents issued by Hamas to prove Fatah's involvement in "inciting against Hamas," the prominent leader said although Fatah was "shocked" by these papers, Hamas had even more documents to prove their involvement in Egypt crimes.
