
Defence Ministers of Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab States (GCC) , held a meeting with US Secretary of Defence Ashton Carter, in Al-Diriyah palace here today.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defence welcomed everyone.
He stressed that the meeting is taking place under major challenges facing the world and region, notably terrorism, instability and Iranian interference in the internal affairs of the region's countries, noting that the meeting will focus on addressing these challenges through the long and deep-rooted partnership, which combines together the GCC Member States and the United States of America.
He also said, "Today we must work seriously to confront these challenges," stressing that through working together, we will overcome all the obstacles."
