
Algerian Foreign Minister Mourad Medelci on Monday voiced his country's support for the interim government in Egypt, asserting that the Arab country is capable of getting out of the current crisis. Speaking at a news program on Canal Algérie, Medelci asserted the necessity of cooperation between the two countries. Medelci noted that he, during his recent visit to Egypt, met with Egyptian foreign minister Nabil Fahmy who put forward clarifications about the implementation of a transition road map in Egypt. He voiced his satisfaction with the plan which includes holding a referendum on the constitution and then presidential elections to choose a new leader. Source: MENA
