Sudanese planes have launched an attack on Keir Adeem in Juba, according to South Sudan army spokesman Philippe Aguer . Speaking to Arabstoday, Aguer said the raids killed five civilians and wounded others, including women and children. He said the incident was a surprise, with both sides currently involved in negotiations over border agreements, and added that the attack will undoubtedly spark tensions between South Sudan and North Sudan. Meanwhile, South Sudan Information Minister Dr Barnabas Benjamin says the oil agreement between both sides has nothing to do with security issues in the country. He said his country has nothing to do with the disputes in South Kordofan and Darfur. On Tuesday, Benjamin said that Sudanese aircrafts attacked Baher al-Ghazal with dozens of people reportedly left wounded. President Salva Kiir visited petroleum sites in Sudan. Kiir said he was due to resume pumping oil a fewdays ago, but the government in Khartoum stalled the agreement.
