Civil protection forces on Friday controlled a fire that broke out in a restaurant in Maadi district due to a butane gas cylinder explosion, said a security source on Friday.
In statements to MENA, he added that no casualties were reported.
The operations room of the civil protection department received a report that a butane gas cylinder went off in a pizza restaurant in Hassanein Bassyouni street in Maadi, he said, adding that five fire engines immediately headed to the scene of the fire
