Egypt's parliamentary delegation heads to US

House Speaker Ali Abdel Aal on Friday left for the US, leading a parliamentary delegation to hold talks on boosting bilateral relations along with other issues of mutual concern.
The Egyptian delegation will hold meetings with Congress leaders including House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan and heads of House Foreign Affairs, Intelligence and Budgetary Committees.
They will also meet with the Egyptian community in the US to build communication channels between the Egyptian parliamentary and expats abroad as well as discussing main challenges facing them there.
As well, the Egyptian delegation is set to hold meetings with officials of the American Chamber of Commerce to tackle economic developments in Egypt in light of the economic program that had been approved in the past year in addition to investment opportunities available within the framework of the new investment law.
