Egyptians warned against approaching army facilities

The Egyptian army on Monday issued a stern warning to anyone who might attempt to attack military buildings or facilities, adding that anyone even approaching the sites could be in danger. Military spokesperson General Ahmed Ali said in a press release that accusing the military of taking on a political role in Egypt is a delusion, adding that people repeating these accusations are incapable of realizing the truth about Egypt’s strong institutions. The press release came in response to statement from a leading member  of the Muslim Brotherhood who accused the army of interfering in Egypt’s political situation, and threatened to attack army facilities.
