Palestinians have not been the only ones affected by the Israeli aggression on Gaza. On the other side of the border, Egyptians in Rafah have witnessed the constant pounding on the Strip. The repeated shelling of the Gaza Strip and the Rafah tunnel has injured some Rafah locals and caused some material damage. Egyptian officials are currently trying to account for the amount of damage done to buildings and institutions caused by the Israeli air strikes on Gaza. The government is advising locals not to approach areas that have been hit by Israeli air strikes. Twelve Palestinians have already been taken to Al-Arish hospital in Sinai to receive treatement. Another two were to taken to Cairo to receive intensive care after sustaining very serious injuries. Some witnesses have told Arabstoday that they are terrified. Their children woke up crying to the sound of explosions this morning.
