Egypt’s National Alliance for Supporting Legitimacy announced it will organise several marches from Rabaa al-Adaweya Mosque in Cairo's Nasr City to the Republican Guard headquarters on Wednesday following the Ramadan Tarawih prayers. The alliance, established by the Muslim Brotherhood and hardline Islamist group al-Gamaa al-Islamiya, supports former president Mohammed Morsi and demands his return to power. Groups of demonstrators will organise a march from Mostafa Mahmoud Mosque in Mohandessin, another from Istiqama Mosque in Giza and a third from Assad Ibn al-Forat Mosque in Dokki. On Monday, marches staged by Islamists on Monday left seven dead and dozens injured after demonstrators clashed with the police and residents of various areas.
