Egyptian Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy will take part in a meeting of the Friends of Syria to take place in Paris on Sunday, diplomatic sources said. The meeting comes ten days ahead of the long-hoped-for Geneva 2 conference meant to find a solution to the nearly three-year crisis in Syria. The foreign ministers of 11 countries, including the US, Britain, France, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Jordan will take part in the meeting chaired by French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius at the French Foreign Ministry headquarters, the sources said. A delegation of the Syrian National Coalition led by Ahmed Jarba will take part in the meeting. Source: MENA
