Egypt on Tuesday condemned a terrorist blast

Egypt on Tuesday condemned a terrorist blast that hit midtown Manhattan, near New York Port Authority terminal, which left several people wounded.
In a statement, the Foreign Ministry stressed solidarity of the Egyptian government and people with the US government and people, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
The ministry affirmed that such terrorist acts and extremist ideologies they reflect, are violating the laws and principles of humanity.
The international community should set a comprehensive international strategy to eliminate terrorism in all its forms and combat extremist ideology in order to enhance the international peace and security, the statement added
