
The province of al-Barka established its own regional government system, said chairman of al-Barka Executive Office Abdurrabbih el-Ber'asi, according to the World Bulletin. The local administration has 24 cabinet ministers to govern the region, and would be divided into four provinces -- Ajdabiya, Benghazi, Jabal al-Akhdar and Tubruk. El-Ber'asi stated the cabinet ministers had been chosen according to their qualifications and the government is determined to keep the balance of al-Berka's social structure. He said, “we would like to make sure the people of al-Berka will have all services from all municipalities. He added the government intents to open an investigation into the files on the assassination of Libyan Chief of the General Staff Abdul Fatah Younis Al-Obeidi in 2011. Source: MENA
