
Jordanian security officers on Monday confirmed the arrest of a fugitive accused of robbery and fraud offences. The Interior Ministry said that the man was detained when authorities raided a property in the town of Ajloun, north Jordan. The defendant, accused of armed ?robbery, impersonating officials and fraud, had 10 court orders issued against him. "The individual didn't have a permanent address and was always on the move. On Monday morning, officers located him in Aljoun, and stormed the premises," a statement from the ministry's media centre said. "The fugitive was in possession of a firearm, some drugs and a large amount of money, at the time of his arrest." the ministry added.
