The Iraqi Military Intelligence Directorate on Sunday arrested a four-member terrorist network in Baghdad, belonging to Daesh.
An Iraqi defence ministry statement said the four defendants were involved in launching terrorist attacks against security forces, army personnel and civilians.
Weapons, explosive devices, missiles and Daesh flag were seized in their possession.
Meanwhile, First Deputy Governor of Baghdad Jassem Albukate said 47 sonar devices arrived from the US to be deployed at 18 checkpoints around Baghdad.
He added that 2000 surveillance cameras would be deployed in different districts in Baghdad to help security forces to restore security in the Iraqi capital.
