Current security challenges require increasing security equipment

Minister of Military Production Mohamed el Assar asserted that the current security challenges facing Egypt require increasing the production of security equipment especially security gates and x-ray machines.
These statements came during the inauguration of a new branch of the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) at Al Gezirah Youth Center. The opening was also attended by Youth Minister Khaled Abdel Aziz and Chairman of Board of Directors of NBE Hisham Okasha.
In February, Military Production Ministry’s Benha Electronics Company and NBE signed an agreement to deliver 64 security gates and three x-ray machines to be installed at the bank’s branches.
Assar said that the ministry is cooperating with a US company to produce security equipment.
Meanwhile, Abdel Aziz said the inauguration of the new branch comes within a protocol that was inked between the ministry and the NBE that aims at opening a number of branches in the clubs.
