In conjunction with Bahrain Declaration of religious freedom and tolerance; and, the King Hamad International Centre for Interfaith Dialogue and Peaceful Coexistence launched in parallel with “This is Bahrain” exhibition in the US city of Los Angeles.
Governor of the Northern Governorate Ali Shaikh Abdul-Hussain Al-Asfoor emphasized the importance of the graffiti event as well as its positive connotations of solidarity and coexistence teeming across the society. The drawing features hands closely-knit together symbolizing the Bahraini community’s love of peace, harmony and co-existence, and reflected in the artwork implemented by Bahraini and expatriate residents of all nationalities, ages and religions.
