Bomb discovered in Lebanese restaurant

Lebanese security forces have discovered a bomb in the toilet of a fast food restaurant in Chtaura, central Bekaa. The discovery followed an anonymous tip-off at 0400 hrs on Thursday morning, with the caller informing police an explosive had been left in the bathroom of the popular KFC chain. The explosive was a Western-made grenade, which police believe the owner forgot. A preliminary security statement claimed the grenade was not intended for an attack. Investigations are underway to find the identity of the caller.
