Belhaif Al Nuaimi issues decision on investigation procedures for marine accidents and incidents

Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Infrastructure Development and Chairman of the Federal Transport Authority - Land and Maritime, today issued a decision on the investigation procedures for marine accidents and incidents.

The decision applies to all types of ship flying the flag of the state, wherever located, and on foreign ships in ports and the territorial waters of the UAE.

The decision aims to facilitate investigation of marine accidents and incidents on ships and small vessels to avoid the occurrence of similar incidents in the future.
