Barzani : Defence Ministry, Peshmerga Agree on Military Plan to Liberate Mosul

President of Iraq Kurdistan Region Massoud Barzani has announced the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Peshmerga agreement on a comprehensive military plan to liberate Mosul city, north of Iraq.

In a joint press conference with the President of the Iraqi National Alliance Ammar al-Hakim, Barzani said " the plan has become almost ready in military terms."   For his part, al-Hakim confirmed "the great harmony between the Iraqi government and the Kurdistan region for liberating Nineveh and beyond," adding that "the National Alliance supports a comprehensive solution to the outstanding issues with the region."
